Based on burda 11/2011 #119A.
The magazine rates this pattern as difficult and the assembly was indeed fiddly and required some patience. Since I’m a beginner I used some leftover fabric of unknown origin for only 5 Eur and I am glad I got a wearable dress out of it. However, I don’t think that I will give this pattern a second go.
crepe-like fabric, I think it’s rayon.

Oh yes, wear it with pride! Also with the certain knowledge that you look hot and elegant at the same time. And for a beginner you get two thumbs up! :) Congrats.

I’m very glad you showed your dress. It’s a pattern I’ve been wanting to make from the first time I saw it and you encouraged me to do so! good job. thanks!

YOU WON!
Yep, this amazing effort has won you the, “It’s so hot I’d wear it, and I’m a guy!” award.
The style, the drape, and the cost of the fabric are equally impressive.
Congratulations!

for a beginner, it looks like you’ve mastered some very complex sewing techniques. don’t be discouraged by the fiddliness of this pattern, it will be significantly easier the second time around. it looks fantastic!

Very very pretty dress! Excellent job!You should give it another try now that you are familiar with the pattern, perhaps with a floral printed fabric.:-)
