I am Mandarin Empire from I Am Cute Dresses by Sato Watanabe. This book has no patterns but all the projects are from very simple geometric shapes – great as it made me feel as if I made this dress from scratch although I was guided by the book. I added an elastic waistband as the “boxy” look doesn’t suit me very well. I can’t wait to try more dresses from this book.
