Description

I just popped into my local Tessuit shop (big mistake moving only 300 metres away) and I spotted this fabric which had arrived the same day.

The night before I had cut up a stretch top to use as a pattern so it was perfect!.

I just wanted a really simple top with rolled edge lettuce leaf edges cause the fabric is so loud and groovy.

I should have taken into account the material was only 2 way stretch so I had to make the sleeves shorter after I had cut it and it might be just a little too short as well.

I’ll definitely wear it with jeans when it starts to get colder.

Material Notes

Lightweight polyester sheer net kind of (technical description)

    Thaks,

You use your servger and have the differetial feed so it stetches the fabric as you sew. using stretch fabric it makes it kind of wiggly. Nice effect. It worked ok on the hem, not really noticable on the sleeves though.

Love it! What a good fabric find. Can you explain rolled edge lettuce leaf edges…. I think it looks great.
