Description

Very slim-fitting tee made today on the request of my son, self-drafted pattern. Raglan sleeves, all raw edges overlocked, double-stitched (with a twin needle) hems on sleeves and lower edge of body, contrast neckline.

    This is terrific! How did you do the neckline, bias tape or just a strip of the cotton jersey?

      Morning to you, pretty steamy in PNG methinks! The neckline is just the cotton jersey of the sleeves, it was a pain and I had to unpick a ruched section of it twice before I got it right :( Still, Huw is very happy with it and boasted to his friends about it! When I was that age (18), it was NOT cool to wear clothes your Mother had made. Apparently now, it is ultra cool as no-one sews anymore…weird!

      VERY steamy, but good for diving, which is how we spent yesterday. :)
      You’ve done a great job, that tee is so spunky and fun, no wonder Huw is proud of it.
      You’re right though, homemade was for poor people, and now it’s haute couture! LOL
