coat and dress made for another hair show, whith the second pic showing all the girls from the collection. The original intent was to use the mods from the 60’s as the jumping off point, and somehow in my mind I added saloon girls from the wild wild west and came up with this. The dress started on top as a classic sleveless fitted princess shape, done with 5 vertical panels, and then flared into a full circle skit shape starting at the waist. The coat was a little more classic, but I went with some major darting to exagerate the shape. All placed on top of a hoop skirt with some pleating added on the bottom for a more visually interesting bottom edge.
Plan a weekend getaway in these sweater dresses and furry accessories.
