Description

I have a love/hate relationship with this pattern: Tank Dress 05/2013 #102
The dress is perfect for the beach, as a housedress or as a nightie.
It’s a bit baggy in the back, and for some reason I call it my “granny dress”. (Probably because my granny wore comfortable summer dresses much like this).
I’ll make more dresses out of this pattern, though, to be worn around the house.

Material Notes

I had some old jaquard fabric in my stash. It was too shiny and silvery for my taste so I used the reverse side of it as the outside.

This is lovely and I love your description of it being a Granny dress. I thought this pattern would make a good nightie too but like you, I plan to make it as house dresses for very hot weather.
