This is gorgeous!! I love dog tooth check and.it works so well in this dress. What pattern did you.use? I.ve got something similiar to this in a deep purple shade. You.ve did a cracking job as always and the exposed red zips a fab touch x

Got a bit worried about my zip, cos when I turned around in the kitchen to show off for the picture, my friend said the bright red zip looks very tempting to be opened :-)) I immediately took his drink away !!!
I have added a pic of the pattern, it is Butterick No. B5664. Not sure yet if I’ll make the jacket to go with it, what do you think ??

The patterns fab!! I love jackets shrugs and boleros that match the dress. I.ve done it quite a few.times. Its a very 50.s thing to do but the matching.jacket would look fab. I.d even add red. Lning .your friend sounds like a right laugh . X
