Houndstooth hoodie

Gloucester, Aust...

This cute hoodie was made towards the end of last winter. The sleeves have a slight puff to them and it features a split kangaroo pouch on the front with contrast ribbing.

I drafted this pattern of another hoodie that I had bought and used a standard quiksew t-shirt pattern for reference.

The short sleeves and the fleecy fabric make this great for transeasonal weather as well as for colder. It is great for layering and can be worn by itself!

I used whit ribbon to stabilise the shoulder seams, and to case the seam in the back of the hood.

Material Notes

Cotton fleecy, cotton ribbing, zipper, ribbon.
