This hat is made from fabric that I purchased at a “bargain” store in Maine that sells everything from soup to nuts – including some interesting fabric. I first used this fabric to make a jacket and then a bag and then when I still had some left said – why not a hat. I decorated it with a band made from some red faux suede that I had in my stash
I think it is cotton that is reinforced on the back somehow (probably intended to be used as a home dec. fabric). The red band is made from faux suede fabric. I lined the top with black polyester satin.
30 select jacket and coat patterns are now marked down to $3.99.
