I love this pattern, unfortunately i chose a bot pink to make it and its just… a little too much girliness in it. i dont know what i was thinking! :( so i tried to dye it black, but the die had no effect on polyester it seems. then i tried to bleach it. nothing :(

I love the dress, the pink is for me. I am a girly girl.

I love the dress (and that’s saying something, because I am definitely not friends with pink myself! ;-)), but it’s sooo simple and yet romantic, I can’t resist!

I think it’s really pretty too and agree with AnaJan about the accessories – it definitely could look really funky and not too girly.

I agree with AnaJan! The dress is gorgeous. Just accessorize with darker tones. I love this pink.

The dress is really lovely. I agree with calicocouture – brown or black accessories would help. Also, you could alter the dress a bit – add a dark belt instead of the one you have now, attach a bordure to the hem in the same color as the belt, and maybe pipe the neckline with bias strips using the same fabric. It would add some contrast to the dress.

wow! your suggestions are good! thanks! i think i am going to sew a contrasting neckline, add dark belt, and maybe make the skirt a bubble skirt! :) i will post the result in a few month!

I think it’s very pretty. Why not add some darker accessories to tone down the pink a bit?
