My second skirt with this pattern. I had a lot of fun with this. I used a zigzag stitch in orange thread to neaten up the seams and found a matching orange zipper. Interestingly enough, when I was making this skirt, I just happened to find a Threads magazine with an article on how to sew an exposed zipper…
It’s a bit shorter than my last pencil skirt but I’m very happy with it and will probably continue to experiment with this pattern.
note: for whatever reason, I had a lot of trouble getting crisp photos of this, but hopefully you can still see some of the details

Well from the smallest size, I took in the two side seams. Unfortunately, I don’t have my pattern with me and can’t tell you exactly how much. Maybe around 1/2" on both sides? I hope that helps!
