I used McCalls M6331 variation B, which I had used before to make my Scallop Duvet Dress, which I really liked.

I used a large piece of remnant fabric which I believe was upholstery fabric as it was shiny on the right side, and looked very synthetic (I turned it over and used the matt ‘wrong’ side’). The fabric had a tag on it saying £15 a metre, and I got a 2metre piece but as I got it from the remnants bin it was £1 !!! It was very easy to work with, very low maintenance, it cut and sewed without fraying or wiggling about too much!
I also picked up some vintage green trim without a price, and the lady gave it to me for £3, I roughly measured it at 9metres, so that was a bargain too. I added this to the waist and around the top of the dress to break up the pink. With an 80p zip I think the dress cost about £5.
Thanks to my dad who paid for it! :)

Yeah, but there were some pics where I lifted the skirt too high, and looked a bit like a cowboy madame…

Lol, thanks. I’ll tell him he was wise to spend money on me.
