i made this dress based on yoshimi’s gillet (http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/gilet).
it is almost completely the same, I just lengthen it a bit, and sew one line in front so it won’t open up like a vest. then I added a sash in the back, so I can tie both in front and back. took mere 30 mins!
