it’s a little funny isn’t it, that the “based on” pattern was actually based on the dress, not the other way around. I love this dress, I think I’ll be making one similar for myself in this hot hot heat we’ve been having lately ;)

i agree the dress is beautiful :) but I wonder if you did sew on the top of the gatering or between the pleats..because i cannot see treads in the close up photograph. Can you tell me ???

this is such a lovely dress! As a novice, I admire your work, mary. (: how were you able to create the lining on the bust? (lacey part) or did the fabric just come like that?
