Description

This dress is based on Simplicity pattern 2063 (Little Lisette collection) but I added some stash pockets to the front side panels. It took a lot of measuring and patience to figure it all out because I had never done anything like it, but was definitely worth it. My kid loves it. The print is super cheery. In the end, though, I’m afraid I probably should have made a larger size or put in a zipper on the back bodice instead of the button shoulder. Not exactly that easy to put on a restless toddler.

Material Notes

The feature fabric is from the Handle with Care Collection by Suzy Ultman and the denim/chambray-looking fabric is thrifted from a maternity dress.
