This is my “hooray for spring” dress. It has a corset top with a racerback to make it a little more interesting. The skirt is gathered, and there is no hem because the selvedge of the fabric is so nice.
you can see it on my blog too! needlesthreadandlove.wordpress.com
I splurged on this fabric its a 100% cotton double gauze by Naomi Ito… the colors and feel are stupendous and I had to own some of it. The dress took around 2 yards.

super cute, love everything! the colors, fabric, style… all of it! did you use a commercial pattern or draft your own? i’m assuming your own as i’ve never seen a pattern with a racerback like that, i love it :)

The dress and the name make me want to dance in warm spring rain ! It fits so well and the tattoos are as great as the dress! Did you make a racerback so le petit prince didn’t have to hide behind fabric ?

Goodness what a beautiful dress! I love that you picked the Naomi Ito fabric, it is gorgeous. Great idea to use the selvedge on the bottom instead of hemming.
