I used the Ottobre pattern #37 size 146 from the 4/09 issue. It was pretty straight forward in as much as, typical for me, I followed step one and maybe two of the instructions and then winged it. I couldn’t find any cute ribbed material for the cuffs so for now just have the sleeve ends rolled up until I figure out what to do with them. The basics of it are princess seams leading to inverted pleats front and back, snap closures and a generous hood.
The fabric (which the photos (ie my cruddy camera) do not do justice) is double faced with a delicious nubbly marled dark red cotton fleece on one side and a red flecked black on the other side that is part cotton part recycled polyester. Perhaps photographing dark red fabric against redwood panelling was not my best idea. When I can get my 8 year old to hold still for 5 minutes I will try for better photos.
