Thanks everyone! It’s the wrap dress pattern from the “color” dress issue from 08 (i’m so sorry i’m at my parent’s house and the mags are at my house and I can’t remember, ugh!)
I didn’t shorten, but I’m very tall (5’10") and I usually lengthen patterns, with this one I didn’t because I knew I wouldn’t wear it to work so it could be funnnn! This is an easy pattern, it just takes some time to lay it out and see the wrap thing happen, the pattern pieces are almost impossible for me to visualize without practicing first. Once you “get it” it was together quickly. If you like mine (which is full of mistakes) please make one and share! It’s a wonderful, fun pattern! Good luck (but you don’t need it!) :)

This dress is on my list. I love your version! Did you shorten it or is that the original length?

I’ts gorgerous! I love the wrapping effect, and the hood is so nice! I’ve thought about trying something similar, but I’m not sure of how long it should be and how wide. How did you make it?

Wow, I absolutely adore this. Love the twisting detail on the front an the giant cowl you made! Which pattern exactly is it? Because I sure want to make a dress like that myself. You did a great job!
