Hood Wrap

Added Jan 23, 2011

by mimishim

Brooklyn, New Yo...

A simple wrap with added warmth and style for those bitter winter days. You can make this without a pattern in just an hour or less. What I love most about this piece is the versatility. You can wear it various ways depending on what else you are wearing. Add a large kilt pin to style this wrap in different ways.

I’ve included a spec sheet under “patterns” so you can make one for yourself.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Also, I post other projects and many inspirations on my blog

Material Notes

100% Alpaca Wool, felted

Hey, this seemed like a simple but fun thing to make. So I started it (I’m studying for exams so I can’t take on big project that’s why I decided on having a go at the hoodwrap). I’ve drawn the pattern on some patternpaper (I’m not really a fan of drawing on the fabric and I always want to know exactly how much fabric I need so I don’t buy too much or, worse, too little! Anyway, tomorrow during breaks of studying, I’ll try to make it :D So thank you very much for this!

Hello everyone! For those of you who could not download my PDF pattern, I uploaded a new PDF which works now. However, the Instructions PDF still doesn’t work, but can be viewed online step by step.

oh so comfy and warm!! will definately be hitting this up when winter comes round down here :) its also good, because so much womens clothing with hoods, are way to small and therefore they are unfunctional! so yay for big slouchy warm hoods ~.^
