I made this as i had the flu and needed something more substansual than a dress to wear out. I have used this pattern before but i added sleeves this time. This fabric was earmarked for a dress but i thought it would make a good jumpsuit after i saw a similiar one in a magazine. The name Hong kong phooey came about because of my brother in law . He said it looked like i was wearing a chinese onesie lol. I thought the fabric had a chinese look to it and the binding added to the oriental look. I had barely 2 metres of this fabric so i used a leftover piece of pontroma for the pockets and sleeves and some silver lycra for the binding. This jumpsuit worked a treat, it was so comfortable and did i mention it had pockets!! It kept me warm and i still felt nice in it. It was certainly different and a big departure from my dresses but i loved it x
