This dress always reminds me of spring.. I bought more than 2m of lightweight cotton fabric not knowing what I’ll do with it.. When I saw the dress in Burda 04/2011, no. 107 , I remembered that I have a similar fabric with tiny flower print, perfect for making that dress.. It’s a kind of a button down shirt dress.. In the store I found these cute heart shaped buttons, but only 8 of them, which was enough for bodice.. On skirt the buttons are hidden, so I sewed simple white ones.. The fit of the dress is very loose, even for my taste.. That’s why I added at the waist, in side seams, two straps which I tie at back.. Also, I managed to make skirt too short.. Embroidered cotton eyelet trim have saved the dress..
