put on an old t-shirt and have someone wrap you in duct tape covering your whole upper body (use wax paper where the shirt does not cover, don’t let the tape get on your skin-it hurts)

Brilliant technique! I’ve been thinking about getting a new dress form but everything i’ve found is too expensive and always the wrong proportions. I think I might try this. Maybe use cling film to protect the bits left exposed by the t-shirt. I could use the stand and knitted cover off my broken one! Saves a lot of trouble with fitting things at the back.
