My daughter drew two pictures what she wanted to wear for Halloween and I got creative to create her not haute couture, but home couture costume that would be trendy and fashionable for a tween, but age-appropriate and mom-approved by me.
The shirt is ready made sweatshirt covered with spiderweb fabric, spiders and a bat from home decorating section of the store. The skirt is made out of two felt spiderweb table runners and decorated with spiders and acrylic jewels. It took some calculating to get it well-fitted and a good sewing machine to sew the thick felt, but it didn’t really take long at all.
