I’ve been needing to practice my sewing skills in particular areas. Over the Christmas break, i made several bodices to try to get the fit right for my plump pear-shaped body. My best success was with the BurdaStyle book dress. However, i’m attempting my first jacket now, and i thought I’d practice making collars, following Angela Kane’s video tutorials.
I used Angela’s collar from her shirt pattern but made the collar stand wider and the collar tips pointier.
The end result: my homage to Karl Lagerfeld who’s latest collection sports many collars as separate accesories.
