Description
This is my homage to the gorgeous Joan from Mad Men. I used New Look 6000, which is a great pattern to sew and very easy. It was also my first time sewing with double knit and I’m thrilled it was so straight forward. Lots more pictures and construction details on my blog

I really like your dress and the red double knit fabric really suits you. I love sewing double knit and it is so comfortable to wear and requires little ironing which is a huge bonus in my mind!! I am sure this will become one of your favourite dresses.
