I bought this bright fabric at the thrift store and wanted to make an easy dress I could easily throw on. The neckline isn’t hemmed but I really liked how it came out, being my first dress.
cotton and elastic for the waist!

Simple and practical, I like how you reversed the stripes. Great job on your first dress ;-)

Great name! Holy stripes: it’s super cute. I started with Anda too. Now I sort of want to change it into a skirt. We’ll see. Keep on sewing!

Wow, this is great for a first attempt. I’m just starting out too and have been looking for a dress in this style – could you let us know where you got the pattern from. Is it based on the Anda? Thanks
Loving the stripes as well!

thank you! Actually I didn’t use a pattern, just two cotton rectangles. The elastic is what really makes the shape

Well done! I like how you combined the horizontal and vertical part of the fabric.
