    It’s great. I’ve been wanting to make a swim-dress-like swimsuit for a while and this is the closest I’ve seen to what I have in my head. If you ever do put up instructions or a pattern, I would really think that’s great.

    I would totally wear this!!!!!! Last year I spent too much money on Victoria’s Secret suits and I don’t like them near as much as I LOVE this!!!!!!!

    Oh my, this is just wonderful, I love the colour, the style well everything really. One day I will get to make up some of my golden oldie patterns keep me inspired in the meantime with yours ;)

    this is just beautiful! I’ve been looking all over for instructions or a pattern for one of these. Would you be willing to post a pattern and tutorial?

      i bought the pattern. it is mccall’s 1961. basically it is a princess seam bodice with a “peplum”, some panties, and 3 gore mini skirt. it has plastic bones in the bodice so i could have left off the shoulder straps. you could work the basic bodice into this pattern to start with. i hadn’t really thought about it until i read your post. i think i will work on a pattern & instructions to post.
