One shouldered dress with rosettes I made for my little sister’s junior prom. It was based off of a david’s bridal prom dress she really liked and is a very bright red, per her request.
I used a simplicity pattern for the skirt and part of the bodice (bodice was heavily altered)
Note: Always check nap!
Being very careless as I am, I cut one of the three skirt panels opposite of the nap. While I was admiring the finished product on her, I realized the coloring of one panel was very off. Needless to say, I had to take it apart to fix. Well, mistakes are a learning process right?
Sorry these are the best photos I have of it. Will try to have her model the dress later for better pictures.
