A lovely tartan dress in the Lolita style, trimmed with velvet and miniature pom-poms. I also made a ribbon pin and hairbow to match. It has a fairly simple bodice style with corset lacing in the back and velvet trim. I made this dress for myself, with a hand-drafted pattern. It is fully lined and finished, and accommodates a typical petticoat.
I can make more dresses in this style, or upload a pattern/drafting instructions if enough people are interested.
Velvet can be a pain to work with, so if you’re not used to it, use velveteen or another fuzzy fabric instead!
