Description
A self-drawing A-Line skirt. The black lace is overlaid on gray wool, then sewn together as a single material. An invisible zipper is inserted at the waist on the left side.
Although some issues remain for the next project (e.g., better matching the scallops of lace at the side where the front and back parts join, etc.), this skirt turned-out pretty close to how I imagined it would and I am quite happy with the result. I am looking forward to wearing this skirt at upcoming holiday events.
Material Notes
The base skirt is gray wool and the black lace is polyester. Lining is cupro.

I love lace overlay, never seen a skirt done with such a wide portion of the under fabric sticking out, but I like it.

Nice and clean and simple! I like how the black lace looks on top of the gray.

I love this skirt. It looks better than most of the lace skirts you see in store at the moment. I may have to try this out.
