I found this fabric in the bargain aisle for $1.95/yard!!!! It is like a sweatshirt material and when I first picked it out I thought it would make pretty pajamas. When I took it home the fabric spoke to me and said it wanted to be a holiday party skirt. So after an internal struggle over whether to make much needed pajamas for the upcoming winter or a party skirt, I listened to the fabric and made a Marie. I made it 2 sizes too big so it sits on my hips and not at my waist, I haven’t done the bottom facing yet because I’m considering shortening it alot! I’m also planning on making a blouse to go with it, out of some cranberry colored fabric, or maybe a dark green…something festive.
Many Thanks to my roommate Emmy for taking pictures!
