Description

I have a couple of casual holiday gatherings coming up, and I wanted something kind of sparkly but still low key to wear. This fabric was perfect for the Esther pattern— the stripes made it really special! The sleeves, back placket, and collar all run opposite of the main bodice (?). Also, the fabric is sheer except for those pieces that are folded over, so it gives some really nice character. I really like this pattern. I was having a lazy Sunday so I’m not made up in the least. Look more at the jacket! ;-)

Material Notes

Silver striped stretch velour.

Burda for the Esther pattern, and me for aligning the stripes in a unique way.

My husband for taking pictures in front of the Christmas tree! :-) And also my kitty, Frankie Baby, for hanging out on the back of the chair.
