A top i dyed batik cotton fabric!
Just a simple top that a made a new pattern of from an old top that I had.
The strap is made from three straps that I ripped from the the fabric and entwined(?) together, just to get a hobo chic feeling.
A top for going to the beach or with a pair of jeans going to a bar to take a drink in the sunset.
Cotton fabric and polyester thread,

Love the top. I think I would have to wear it backwards though or not make the cut out so low, but it really is nice. I have been attempting to alter a few patterns that I have on hand to get a different look, not brave enough to cut any out yet though. I hate messing good fabric up and even my not so good fabric either…LOL. Guess I could just add it to my stash for some quilts that I am going to make someday. Happy Sewing!!! Can’t wait to see the sundress.

Hi Adrienne and thanks!
Well, I actually had the top on yesterday witout a bra on , but then I have small “B´s” so it was no problem ;D
No boobs were showing or falling out!
And I´m just like you, I hate messing up good fabric, but now I learnd that i buy a lot of fabric IN CASE I mess it up.
Happy Sewing to you to, and the sundress will be finished after I made one moore top like the red, but this one will be turquoise!

I know what you mean about buying extra fabric…I have the opportunity to shop at a wholesale fabric warehouse and they have “flat fold” tables with cuts of their bolted fabric ranging anywhere from 1 yard to 6 yards of fabric. My stash is overflowing and am trying to use some of it for skirts and tops for myself as well as my girls and granddaughter. But then it seems someone wants something made and I don’t have what they want in my stash. Oh darn, then I have to make a trip to the fabric shop to get more…love it!
