Another pattern I loved the look of from Burda (Dec 2010) and which I made a while back. It’s actually for petite sizes so I had a practice at lengthening a pattern which worked fine. May well make this again sometime as I love the detailing with the little panel at the waist, the mutton sleeves and gathering round the neckline but as you can see from the back, I made it before buying a special zipper foot for invisible zips and it’s not fully concealed, plus I haven’t matched the seams up properly which is something I wouldn’t leave unfixed nowadays but wasn’t so fussed back then – my hatred of unpicking seams overcame my dislike of imperfections.
I’d probably give a better attempt at an invisible hem too next time.
