Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Dreamy and romantic dress I’ve created from dead stock Dupioni Silk and creamy vintage crochet lace.
No pattern used but front bodice was blocked from body form.
I used a square block of Dupioni and shirred the upper portion with elastic thread. Skirt drafted from a plain rectangular block with gathers and single fold at the bottom. Lined with geena silk gathered at the waist portion.
Added lace for that dreamy, Bohemian, flower princess feel. :)
