This is my first dress made from the BurdaStyle Anda pattern.
I cut the size 38, made a muslin, and then made alterations to fit. I essentially took 1.5 inces off each side of the front and back pieces, brought each shoulder in 1 inch, and took about 1.5 inches off of the length. I also placed the casing inside the dress and used elastic instead of a drawstring. I placed the elastic at my natural waistline. The hem is done by hand.
I love the look of this dress and how easy it is to wear. It is comfortable, yet still shows my shape. I wore it all day today, will wear it to a birthday party tonight, and feel like it is also appropriate for my office. I think it works equally well with knee high boots, dress shoes, or sandals.
