I made Kathrine in heavy silk, maybe a little bit too stiff, because the result is very theatrical. I feel like a puppet from Alice in Wonderland in it! I didn’t have enough from one color, so I used two, blue and gold.
It was HARD WORK! Mostly because I made a big mistake cutting the front part and it took me hours to find out what I did wrong. Then the lines of the pattern were of no use to me anymore, so I had to find out how to ‘pleat the pleats’ all by myself, so to say. It’s not finished jet, I will post more pictures wearing it. The sash I made from the blue silk as well, but it looks silly if you wear it like a belt.
It’s a nice pattern, but one tiny bit of criticism: I think size 40 could have had bust darts too. It feels a bit tight, I have a cup D.
