Yay, its done! The first jacket I have ever made! The hikaru jacket in navy (or royal) blue. I made a few changes to the pattern, first I made it a button up, not zip up. And also there is a little pleat in the back (with a heart-shaped button), where I reshaped the back yoke. The only issue with this pattern is that, because of my very long arms, the sleeves came out a bit too short. And I may also change the buttons in the near future. Did anyone else have this problem? Also the lining is a wonderful green.

beautiful! I love the blue and the green, and the button vs zip was a great touch.

I’ve loved this jacket since the pattern first came out (just haven’t had a chance to make it yet) so it’s good to see a finished version of it! And I love how you made the lining a different color than the jacket.
As for the long arms, I have that problem too. I usually just add some length to the sleeve pattern before I make anything long-sleeved now.
