i had a ton of this super thin denim leftover from other projects (one of those “sure, give me the rest of the bolt” moments), and i’ve always wanted high-waisted shorts, so these were what came of it!
i like the finished look, except that the fabric is much too thin for such form-fitting shorts. making them with a heavier denim would eliminate that problem and make them much more wearable. next time!

I was just typing up an explanation on how you might easily go about making great-fitting skirts/shorts/pants with a high waist, but then re-read it I could hardly follow! I might be able to do a ‘how to’ it you’d like? hopefully that would be more straightforward :)
