Using a vintage high-waisted shorts pattern, I created my own spin by adding elastic to the legs and making a sleek fit. The shorts have a 6 in olive green zipper in the back. The material is a tribal print and a vintage band found at Jem Fabric Warehouse in NYC, the best place to shop for fabric in NY. The prices are so low and they have a very inspiring collection. Most if not all of my material comes from there. It is even more exciting if you are like me and enjoy to dig and love the thrill of the hunt because it is a little messy in there.
tribal cotton, printed band, elastic, 6 in zipper
