I just made this skirt this morning after having bought the fabric used down the bottom over a year ago!!!
It was a Japanese style quilting fabric and was very expensive (about $30 a metre!) So I only bought about 25cm of it… I’d been saving it for the perfect project, and I’m pretty happy with the long awaited outcome!
Japanese style quilting fabric and plain cotton.

Your skirt’s really cute! Great use of the quilting fabric, very original.
