I hate low rise everything…so much. I was so happy when I heard high waists were coming back, but it sure took me forever to design/make something going along with that trend. But here it is! Work them as vintage style or modern trend.

Absolutely beautiful, I share loathing of low rise. These are so flattering! But is there no way you share the pattern with us?

I’m afraid I’ve not yet learned the skills of posting a pattern. I can tell you that I traced a pattern off of some normal shorts that I had in my closet and then added a flat strip of cloth wide enough to reach the rest of the way up to my waistline. Then I took in the extra material on each side of my waist along that strip. Does that make sense

Hi Shalyn These are gorgeous! I used to have a similar pair that had a couple of deep (unpressed) pleats in the front but smooth at the back. You’ve made me nostalgic for them!
