A blouse I made for myself. I didn’t use a pattern, I just had an idea of what I wanted and knew how to put it together. It has three drawstrings around the waist; two are doubled into the same casing and tie on each side, the third is about an inch lower and ties in the back. That way my waist is defined enough that I don’t look like a balloon. The shoulder seams are gathered and the side seams are gathered below the waist. The sleeves are gathered into the armscye and then allowed to hang free.
Fabric: 100% wool…
Notions: black cotton cording, silver aglets, black beads, thread.
