Description

… But easy to please! :)

I made this casual button-up shirt for my hubby to wear for his sister’s wedding this summer. I used the men’s shirt pattern Burda 7767 and a grey linen-polyester blend fabric. The fabric was rather difficult to work with (even though I ended up achieving the desired look) since it doesn’t really hold a crease so ironing was next to impossible! It also slipped around quite a lot, therefore the pleats at the front don’t look nearly as crisp as I was hoping… sigh Luckily my husband isn’t very picky…

His sister is getting married in mid-July so I imagine he will roll the sleeves up a bit (which I think will look great). The wedding is also going to be rather casual as it’s being held at a nearby lake, but I still want him to look nice in the family photos! He’s pretty easy on the eyes, so I don’t imagine that will be a problem ;)

Material Notes

Grey linen-poly blend (super frustrating to work with)
