The second of three in my summer blouse project. This one is made in mint green cotton with tiny white dots. And with a ribbon neckline!
The buttons are bought in a tiny store in Gothenburg – Knapp-Karlsson. Just lovely mother-of-pearlish white buttons with a hint of green and pink.
Luckily the Liz pattern has princess seams – I’ve taken of a bit in width on this one. As well as shortened it on two places :) Also, this project was a welcome opportunity to train myself on machine made buttonholes.
We’re on location “water lily pond”, behind Götaplatsen (Gothenburg).
Worn here with the dots black circle skirt (http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/here-s-dots-black-circle-skirt).

I advice you to tie the ribbon better than me, though :)

oh I have an unfinished Liz with a tie neck in green-brown chiffon (well polyester chiffon) …. now I’ve seen how lovely your looks maybe I should get off my butt and get to finishing it :)

I like this too! You’ve done a lovely job – I really think your tie neckline for this shirt is much nicer that the original. Good on you Honey!
