Description
A 17th C doublet based on a shield that was blue, white and gold. This was made for a Live Action Role Playing game.
There are a total of 76 pieces of cloth in this garment…
The shirt is based on an 18th C design with added machine embroidered blackwork cuff ruffles. The ruffles are basted on so they can be removed and the shirt worn without them if desired.
This was a joint project: Su made the shirt and did the embroidery, I made the doublet.

Stash busters are great! At the moment I am raiding my stash to outfit my daughters first apartment. We are also going through and recycling old clothes into new. Busy time!!
