My Mum’s had this material floating around for a while now. She bought it to go with a jacket but decided it wasn’t for her. I have this wonderful cotton with a geometric print which I intend to make into a one shoulder dress and while I was searching for patterns online, I found this pattern. Because it’s for a knit, it doesn’t work for my cotton but I thought about how little material it would use and could solve the problem of the unused floral.
I do have just one issue with the final project – the front waist is not in fact at my waist, but slightly higher (this is prolly because my bust is bigger than the pattern allows), but this would be easy to fix if I made it again.
Light knit with floral print

Thanks! I’m short waisted anyway, which made me surprised when it was short, even on me!

It just makes it awkward when I want to wear a belt with it (and I have a cute white one which would go) because you can see the seam isn’t in the right place.
