My sister asked me to make a messenger bag for my little niece, Since she is Hello Kitty mad I decided to buy Hello Kitty fabric from Ebay..
My sister said that the bag had to be big enough to carry her A4 folder. I drafted the pattern myself. It needed lots and lots of adjusting as I never drafted a bag pattern before. Overall the bag turn out fine and my niece is very happy with it. Bright colours that any little girl will like. She uses the bag every day as Hello Kitty is her favorite at the moment. She even uses it to carry her stuff for dancing.
Since this I made the bag, my daughter, other nieces and and some of my cousins all want the same bagI’m now busy making Hello Kitty stuff for them. I’ve been making lots more Hello Kitty which I will post at a later stage.
