I had this adorable Easter Hello Kitty fabric from last year and thought I would finally make a cute scrub top for work with it. I was very impressed with myself; I made it in less than a day!!!! I didn’t use a pattern again. You would think I would have one after all the scrubs I made. I need to go buy more muslin and just make one.
I recently made the Burda blouse with frills and thought of a cute idea to add a little row of frills to my top. I ironed out premade pale yellow bias tape and small zig-zagged the edge with light pink. I added pink rick-rack to the 3 pockets. I added inseam pockets to put more stuff in. I LOVE pockets at work!!! I overcasted all the edges. The neckline could use a little more work, but I think it turned out really cute. I used just about all the fabric except a teeny tiny square.
happy easter!
