I fell in love with the Heidi prom dress variation. So my mom came up over spring break and helped me sew it up in a lovely silk duipioni (sp?). I loved my wedding, I loved my dress, and I’m so proud of the fact that my mom and I made it! There were some issues with the pattern. We are both excellent sewers (my mom used to make clothes for us as kids) and we had a problem with getting the gathers right on the front of the skirt. So we opted for no gathers. We also kept the tulle skirt separate. It was easier to get on.
100% silk duipioni
